Cows and alpine wood – how do they go together?

The partnership with the Schoppernau mountain cheese dairy combines traditional craftsmanship and regionality in a special way. While the cows graze on lush alpine meadows in summer and provide the basis for the flavoursome mountain cheese, the precious, fine-grained mountain wood is sustainably felled at these high altitudes in winter.

We are committed to supporting the Schoppernau mountain cheese dairy so that the diversity of its artisan delicacies can be preserved in the future and small-scale farming structures can be maintained.

This close cooperation is a strong sign of our attachment to our homeland.
